About Rainier Economic Development Council (REDCO)
In 1995 the City of Rainier created an urban renewal district to stimulate local economic development. The district is administered by the Rainier Economic Development Council - REDCO. The REDCO Council meets monthly to discuss the region's economy and development projects. REDCO projects are funded by tax increment taxes in the Rainier Urban Renewal Area.
