About Rainier Economic Development Council (REDCO)
The City of Rainier and the local taxing districts created an urban renewal district (URD) to stimulate local economic development. REDCO meets monthly to discuss the region's economy and to fund development projects from tax increment financing (TIF) funds coming out of the URD.
